摘要
The complex physical pattern and the proposal of the present authors on the jet-like rather than vortical nature of the flow ahead of a piston served as the basis for conducting an experiment with visualization of this flow. Since the piston velocity in the wind tunnel is low the gas flow was modeled by water. The work was carried out on an experimental facility consisting of a vertically positioned tube with a piston inside the tube.
