摘要：
The combined convection flow past a vertical porous isothermal body with potential flow U(x) and the boundary layer thickness δ(x) is studied in this paper. Series solutions are presented and the functions affecting the flow are shown on graphs. The functions affecting the skin-friction and the rate of heat transfer are evaluated and their numerical values are listed in a Table. The effects of the Eckert number and the suction parameter on this function are discussed.
