Zimmerman Machinery Corporation introduced the Kaelin fabric cleaning device in the United States in late 1986. With it, the aged-old problem of fabric cleaning has finally been resolved. Efficient removal of dust, fuzz, threads, lint and the dirt from the surface of any type of textile or non-woven substrate is now possible. Kaelin and its inclined compartment nozzle increases the vacuuming time rate of air flow to eight times more than that of the usual slot nozzle. The substrate moves over a number of inclined channels which guide the air flow with high speed and high negative pressure. This construction increases the cleaning efficiency compared to the usual slot nozzle. With this system it is possible to adjust the contact of the roller brush from zero to the full brushing of the fabric.
