Habitat Conservation Planning efforts in the southeastern United States

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service relies on Habitat Conservation Planning (HCP) in addressing and resolving wildlife or development conflicts. A review is given on some of the current HCP efforts underway. An attempt is also made to compare and contrast implementation of the HCP process between individual field offices in the Southeast Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and between different Regions of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
