Results of a numerical calculation of the efficiency of a two-dimensional rectangular rib with a linear law of variation of the heat transfer coefficient along its perimeter are presented. It is shown how assumptions about the one-dimensional character of the temperature field of the rib and the heat transfer coefficient constancy affect the accuracy of distribution of efficiency.
