Increase of water cooling tower operation effectiveness

摘要
The methods of effectiveness increase of water cooling towers with forced air supply have been considered. Application of fan blades of plastic material reinforced by glass fibres increases life; and under combination of fan and nozzle recuperating air velocity, the put-on air volume (on unit of motor power) increases by 7%. New design separators representing cellular structures have smaller pressure loss. Special distributing water sprays and new profile packings allow to increase cooling tower throughput by 25%.
