摘要
An extremely simple, all analog, and fully parallel implementation of a neural network, which was originally derived to account for the nonlinearity and mean luminance dependence observed in many biological visual systems, is presented. The network performs a wide variety of useful computational tasks, which can be predicted with a system of first-order differential equations. Good agreement has been found between this model and circuit implementations of the network.
