摘要
Economics and availability genrally dictate the type of clad product to be used in any particular situation. First choice on most occasions is the hot rolled product. This type of material is, however, generally confined to plate products and thicknesses of up to 100 mm. In view of the above situation, this paper proposes that fabrications which require large plates, or are of a shaoe for which plate products are unsuitable, are generally clad by weld surfacing.
