摘要：

The authors comment on the use of hydraulic fluid formulations based on polyglycols. They note that while polyethylene glycols are completely harmless toxicologically, polypropylene glycols are highly toxic to humans. They conclude that all requirements with regard to biological harmlessness and environmental compatibility, including harmlessness to foods can be satisfied only by polyethylene glycols with molecular weights in the range from 200 to 600.
