摘要
One possible way of using fine coals for the fixed-bed gasification under high pressures is to press the raw fine coals to briquets or sheets with sulfite solution as a binding agent. Systematic investigations show the influences of material and technological quantities for a high volatile coal with an ash content up to 40%. A blending of 3-4% sulfite solution (solid) and 6% water was the best for the briquetting of fine coals. For the agglomeration of fine coals to sheets it is necessary to raise the contents of the binding agent to 4-6% sulfite solution and to 8-11% water to get high strengths. For gauging the stability of the briquets in the gasification reactor coking experiments were carried under pressures up to 30 bar. The influences on the stability and reactivity of the briquets were investigated (for partial gasification, too). A stability of the briquetting coke and sheet coke that is comparable to other materials used in fixedbed gasification processes without difficulties is observed. Recommendations for practice are included.
