The numerous literature data concerning reduction equilibria of calcium ferrites in the Fe-Fe//2O//3-CaO system below 1050 C were re-evaluated. The results are presented in a diagram as lg (pCO//2/pCO) values as a function of the reciprocal of temperature and - based on the latest values for the melting equilibria of the ternary system - are used to extrapolate the reduction equilibria of the liquid state.
