Analysis on bolt strain with large deformation under shearing-tensile load

In order to study large shearing-tensile deformation behavior of bolt in discontinuous rock, the finite deformation theory is adopted based on S-R decomposition theorem. By using co-moving coordinate description, the formula of strain tensor of large deformation of bolt is derived. The theoretical law of bolt strain under shearing-tensile loads is obtained. A theoretical method is put forward to determine bolt deformation based on displacement measurement. The validity of proposed theory is confirmed by experiment results of direct shearing on different bolted rock.
