Ultrasonic Finished Part Tests in the Motor Vehicle Industry.

Examples are given of the use of ultrasonic techniques in the testing of finished parts in the production of motor vehicles. These examples are concerned especially with the testing of welded parts, such as flash-welded steering wheel shafts, parts with fillet welds, and welded brake straps. Also discussed is the testing of soldered joints, the testing of valves and valve springs, and the testing of roller bearings.
