Advances in high power packaging with gas turbines

Describes the TP&MS 45 MJ Twin Pac, which consists of two counter- rotating gas turbines driving one generator, and describes its development from the time of the first installed unit through Mar, 1972. The various applications and operating features of the unit are presented with a description of the major equipment which makes up the unit. It also discusses the installation features, including a new testing concept, and some of the problems that have been overcome in the design of the Twin Pac.
