Diamagnetic force acting on electron beams in superconducting tubes

摘要
In this paper, the diamagnetic force, due to the Meissner effect, acting on the electron beam of finite radius which runs through the superconducting tube, is calculated. The effects of the diamagnetic force are theoretically studied. The diamagnetic guides the electron beam toward the tube axis and conforms the shape of the cross section of the beam. However, it does not yield the focusing of a single beam of finite radius.
