摘要
External insulation is one of the few practical answers to the many environmental problems associated with aging solid wall structures. This article describes a new fire-resistant external wall insulation system developed jointly by Blundell Permoglaze and Rockwool. The system combines the natural fire resistance and water repellancy of mineral fibers in the slabs, with tried and tested polymer-reinforced cementitious protective and decorative finishes.
