Today, the standing of a technology and equipment supplier is not just a matter of punctual delivery and successful commissioning, but also of economical plant operation through service and maintenance. Precisely this cost factor is transferring service and maintenance increasingly from the operator to the plant manufacturer, as will be shown here.
