摘要：
The new type of ECuGT copper electrode possesses a number of advantage over the conventional one. With the new type, it is possible to produce welded joints in any material thickness without preheating the material It has been established that the electrodes of this type are particularly suitable for cold welding of continuous casting moulds in steel casting, other thick-walled structures, and copper containers.
