摘要
The effect of a grain-refining process on the structure and properties of the high-strength low-alloy steel 23MnCrNiMo52, which is used for round-link chains in coal mining, was investigated. The results indicated that the structure of the weld heat-effected zone and the matrix can be refined by means of induction quenching and low-temperature tempering, and finally good strength-toughness properties can be achieved due to the fine martensite structure. All the properties attain the 'standard of D' of MT36-80, issued by the Ministry of Coal Industry.
