Recently, household appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, room air- conditioners, vacuum cleaners, blenders and sewing machines have spread further. Al of these appliances are equipped with electric motors specifically appropriate for their applications. Some of these motors are explained here from the engineering point of view.
