摘要
The latest state of the art in robotic resistance spot welding lies in the technology of integral (or built-in) transformer weld gun systems, or trans/gun systems. Such systms consist of a spot welding gun, in a variety of gun jaw designs and configurations, with built-in transformer. The guns are designed to mount on the end of the arm of a welding robot without the use of overhead cabling that is necessary with the overhead suspended transformer weld gun systems. There are a number of cost, quality and technological advantages to the integral trans/gun system.
