A rolling car is faced with powers determined by the aerodynamic of the car, friction loss of the moving parts and by the rolling resistance of the tyres. The latter can be controlled by the tyre-compound. Thereby the choice of the right plasticizer plays an important part. These however must not only meet the technical but also the ecological demands.
