Using the method of holographic interferometry, resonance characteristics (frequencies and forms) of vibrations of a closed cylindrical shell half-filled with water have been determined. The presence of a liquid has substantial effect on the vibrations of the system. The phenomenon of a partial resonance of the bottom of the shell, and vibrations of parts of the bottom situated above and below the level of the liquid at noncoinciding frequencies, has been observed.
