The rebuilt of PM 3 by Papierfabrik Vreden's at its mill in Vreden, North Rhine Westfalia, Germany, is illustrated. The installation of new size press on PM 3 by Bellmer has improved the strength of the unit,s output and enabled it to produce testliner 3. The cost of project is Euro 4 million ($ 5 million) in the first phase of the wider investment program for the plant. The firm is aiming to boost the operating speed of its units from 300 m/min to 600 m/min and to switch the production to light-weight recycled containerboard grades.
