Simulation study on an RF-linac for far-infrared free electron laser

摘要
Far-infrared free electron laser at wavelength about 0.2mm needs an intense electron beam with long micropulse, low energy spread and high stability. The simulation study with PARMELA code on an L-band RF-linac composed of subharmonic buncher, prebuncher and accelerator was carried out for the physical design of linacs.
