Sb-Mn alloy in-situ composites and magnetic properties

摘要
The microstructures and magnetic properties of two in-situ composites, directionally solidified Sb-9.5% Mn alloy and Sb-50% Mn alloy, were investigated. The aligned ferromagnetic compound MnSb or Mn2Sb was embedded in Sb or Mn matrix with different Mn contents. The magnetization curves and thermal magnetic curves were examined along the solidification direction, which revealed the magnetic behaviors of the composites.
