where x+ is the dimensionless slip factor. The equations(2-4) that are valid to calculate the particles deposition velocity to a thlly absorbing surface of zo< 10 cm roughness for friction wind velocities U; 10-200; cm/s; can be used to set boundary conditions for a semiempirical equation for turbulent diffusion at the upper edge of the atmospheric surface layer; which is where boundary conditions are generally specified for hydrothermodynamics equations.
