摘要：

The basic theory for the development of water repellent foams is related to two fundamental properties of the physical chemistry of the liquid state: the 'Wetting Law' and related contact angle; and the capillary rise or fall. Three new water repellent PU foams are surveyed, and their application fields are listed.
