摘要
The problems of improving the methodology, instrumentation and fixtures for conducting laboratory and shop tests on the vibration stability of lathes by a cutting method are discussed. A machining method is suggested which makes it possible to obtain more reliable lathe tests. Recommendations are given for the selection of machining conditions and cutting tool, design of mandrels, and dimensions and holding methods for blanks being machined.
