摘要
Victoria's Department of Human Services (DHS) has launched a guide to environmental sustainability, which includes the way in which building services are provided. The DHS guide has been launched for hospital, aged care and other health care development projects in Victoria. Sustainability Guidelines 6.5, part of the DHS capital development guideline series, covers building design and procurement including building systems, services and materials and engineering infrastructure. Sustainability Guidelines 6.5 provides guidance on issues such as maximum access to fresh air, sunshine and natural daylight, optimum thermal building mass including glazing to floor or wall ratios, insulation to building fabric and systems, landscaping, waste minimization.
