Suggestions on the Installation of Solar Systems in New Buildings.

Data on the use of flat collectors such as compact and prefabricated as well as integrated collectors for heating domestic and swimming pool water are presented. The size of collectors for heating domestic and swimming pool water can be determined on the basis of nomograms. Collector-type solar energy systems are mainly used for the separate heating of domestic water and of swimming pool water, and for the combined heating of domestic and swimming pool water, and for heating domestic water to boost the space-heating system. Information on solar energy storage piping and insulation, heat transport media, electrical, safety and legal aspects is given.
