摘要
Zinc nanopowder was produced by evaporating pure zinc raw material in the vacuum condition using Laser-inductive multiple heating method. The average diameter of Zn nanoparticles produced is about 40 nm. The powder was heat treated at different temperatures in air and the influence of heat treatment on the crystal structure and morphology was examined by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Differential scanning calorimetry was also used in Ar and O2 respectively to make a further explanation for the oxidization resistance of the Zn nanopowder. It was found that the appropriate surface passivation treatment could effectively suppress Zn nanopowder from being further oxidized below the melting point. Therefore the Zn nanoparticles showed relatively good oxidization resistance in the experiment.
