摘要
The main results of the improvement of the light alloy technology in the USSR in the last decade are surveyed and the lines of its further development in the next future, especially as regards the quality and efficiency of production are mapped out. In particular, trends in the technology of manufacture of aircraft aluminum alloys, general-purpose aluminum alloys, extra-light magnesium alloys, specific features of development of the technology of titanium alloys, and the granule metallurgy are reviewed.
