摘要
The damping capacities of Cu-Al-Ni alloys containing from 9. 18 to 14. 45 wt. % Al and from 0. 95 to 6. 5 wt. % Ni were determined on a torsional pendulum. The alloys had high specific damping capacity, from 15 to 75%. The damping is attributed to energy losses of mechanical vibrations during the motion of the boundaries of twin-like bands and interfaces.
