摘要
The general problem of controlling mineral beneficiation processes are outlined, drawing attention to control strategies and related mathematical models for selected processes. Stress is laid on choosing the model simplest and easiest to manipulate to fulfil the desired functions. It is shown that control is generally necessitated by particles whose behaviour lies between that of the main bulk of the valuable mineral particles and of the gangue mineral particles. Quality of necessary hardware and software is discussed.
