Design and optimization of power/ground network for BBL based VLSIs

摘要
A design and optimization method of tree-based power/ground network in the BBL VLSIs was put forward which is a new kind of layout pattern. A new algorithm was presented to solve this problem, which includes 3 steps: finding the channels between the modules, routing the power trees according to several principles, and finally determining the branch width to get the minimal area. Experimental results show that the algorithm has achieved the object which minimizes the area occupied by power/ground network with high running speed.
