摘要
A hierarchical model is considered for the interaction between an automation and a random environment for various levels of complication of the latter. It is shown that the optimality of a deterministic or random environment can be determined on the basis of an adequacy law, and that it depends on the relationshipn between the complexity of the environment and of the automation.
