Quantum interference between decay channels of a three-level atom in a multilayer dielectric medium

摘要：
Quantum intereference between between two transitions was studied for three-level atom in a multilayer dielectric medium with close upper and a single lower level. Spontaneous emission of an atom was analyzed with two upper levels and one single lower level in a multilayer dielectric medium. The result showed existence of strong quantum intereference even if two dipole moments were orthogonal to each other.
