MODEL FOR HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS IN DRYOUT REGION OF FORCED CONVECTION EVAPORATION.

摘要
On the basis of various experimental observations, the author has proposed a physical model for the variation of wall and evaporating refrigerant temperatures, heat transfer coefficients, and the two-phase flow pattern during the wall dryout transition region. The proposed relation is compared with experimental data and the agreement is quite good. The results are so plotted for five mass velocities of 157, 209, 418, 627 and 835 kg/m**2s and heat flux varying between 4700 to 31,500 W/m**2.
