摘要：

In this paper, the higher order elliptic partial differential equations with variable growth are studied and the existence of solutions in the setting of Wm,p(x) spaces is obtained by means of an abstract result for variational inequalities obtained by Gossez and Mustonen. The corresponding one of Kovaacik and Rakosnik is generalised.
