摘要
A decomposition scheme for large-scale dynamic systems is formulated in terms of digraphs, which involves condensations with overlapping subsystems. The scheme is introduced to aid in the transient stability analysis of multimachine power systems with nonuniform damping and transfer conductances. An interesting feature of the proposed decomposition approach is the fact that the obtained stability region is expressed explicitly in terms of system parameters.
