In many cases, noise control enclosures can be designed and constructed by plant personnel. Careful analysis of the circumstances and selection of enclosure materials can lead to a solution to the problem of excessive noise. This article discusses problem analysis, enclosure design guidelines, enclosure construction, and other aspects of the subject.
