摘要
This paper examines the in-plane and c axis electrical resistivities, ρa and ρc, from 4.2 to 295 K for first stage MxAl2Cl8 GICs where M = Cu, Cd or Pd. It is found that dρ/dT>0 for all cases in both directions. Particularly high values of ρc and anisotropy (ρc/ρa) are found for the Pd containing materials, exceeding 5 Ω.cm and 106 at 4.2 K respectively. The magnetic ordering observed elsewhere in the Cu-containing materials does not appear to influence the transport in either direction.
