摘要
The subject of the study is a technology of refractory concrete with composite silicate-soda binder for sintering zone lining in cement rotating furnaces. A refractory concrete composition was developed, using as filler chromium ore that allowed an increase in the material's service properties. The formation of highly refractory compounds and the development of a 'buffer zone' at the clinker-refractory contact was investigated as the concrete operated in the sintering zone of clinker calcining furnaces. The engineering properties of the refractory concrete and the results of its pilot industrial testing are reported.
