摘要
Crystallization of foamed metals during gas eutectic transformations has been used for producing special porous materials with anisotropic honeycomb structure referred to as gasars (gas-reinforced). The gasar porosity can be as high as 80%. With lower porosity, a decrease in the hydrostatic pressure of a melt is more rapid. With a high porosity it is easier to have a stable structure with evenly distributed pores as regular cylinders.
