Design of subsea modular pig receivers for the North Sea's Tiffany field export system employed conventional technology to achieve operational simplicity for pipelines handling both gas and crude oil under pressure. Subsea facilities were designed to provide for diversion of the normal flow through a modular removable subsea pig receiver.
