摘要
The paper presents the results of a study of turbulent jets transporting heavy solid or liquid particles and propagating in a stationary medium or in dust-laden cocurrent flows. The analysis makes allowance for the effect of the particles on the turbulent structure of the jet. The problem of diffusion of the solid or liquid particles in turbulent flow is examined and, in particular, a model is suggested that accounts for the effect of particle or droplet size on such diffusion.
