摘要
The investigation relates to the properties and structure of low density PE produced in tubular reactors or in autoclaves with a stirring device, using single-zone and double-zone synthesis. It is found that the yield point in tension, heat resistance and hardness are higher for the PE produced in reactors with a stirring device, using double-zone syntehsis, than for PE produced in tubular reactors. The PE produced in reactors with a stirring device using the single-zone process approximates in properties to the polyethylene produced in tubular reactors. The electrical properties and brittleness temperature of these polymers do not depend on the method of production.
