摘要
It is shown that self-excited oscillations can occur during working and transient regimes in the circuits of steel-melting arc furnaces. Mathematical expressions are obtained for the oscillation existence conditions. Self-excited oscillations appearing during working regimes (melt regimes) may improve the energy characteristics of furnace circuits in certain conditions. Self-excited oscillations occurring when furnace circuits are interrupted have a negative effect on the switchgear and the furnace transformer.
