摘要
This study presents a model of economical optimization of the sizes of stiffened steel panels. Although this model is adapted to the case of the structure of a ship, it is also valid for any type of structure. The results of numerical applications produce curves allowing an easy choice of the stiffening of panels (stiffeners in one or in two directions) considering only their load and their length.
